Welcome to the home page for the North Texas Whip carriage driving club. This non-profit organization was co-founded by two area horsewomen in 1996 and has since grown to a membership of over 100 carriage driving enthusiasts and is affiliated with the American Driving Society as well as the Carriage Association of America. Important Announcements and Updates

The July 17 meeting was well attended, but the temperature kept all of us hot, hot hot!  J. Brown was very entertaining with his tall tales of his family's adventures in the early days of the Wild West Shows at Six Flags Over Texas and the Club conducted a lot of business in a very short time.  See the details in the Meeting Minutes in the August newsletter.

Saturday, October 2:  NTW Fall Frolic Through the Foliage!  A Pleasure Driving Show to be held at Barbara Vanhoozer's Farm.  The Pleasure Driving Show will be judged by Bill Harwood, a noted Welsh breeder, judge and competitor.  Barbara is also planning a fun cones course and, in the afternoon, a Poker Run.  Something for everyone!  Contact Barbara at 817-596-4470 or Barbara@vanhoozerfarm.com. 

  Saturday, October 9:  NTW Fort Richardson Trail Drive:  This is a lovely trail and has many interesting historical sites.  Contact Pam Farmer, 817-594-3394 or tintopcarriage@charter.net for details.
